Since 1993, Jim has been the managing partner and CFO at The Hechtman Group LLC, where he specializes in the PRISM CFO/Controller Services, advisor-client relationships, and staff development within an entrepreneurial culture.

Karin joined The Hechtman Group in 2002, and has been a partner with the firm since 2012.  Karin’s specializes in Individual and Trust taxation and is also the firm’s COO.

Paul Benjamin has been a partner at The Hechtman Group since 2021. Prior, Paul was a partner at Echales, Benjamin & Simkin, L.L.P.

Richard a Partner at the Hechtman Group with 25 years expertise in tax planning and preparation for small businesses across real estate, wholesale, retail, and professional services industries.

Brian is a Senior Tax Manager specializing in business and individual tax planning, payroll, and financial management. He holds CPA licenses in Kentucky and Illinois.

Debbie is an accounting manager specializing in real estate partnerships and small businesses. She excels in tax work, refinancing, sales, 1031 exchanges, and general accounting.

Emily Mortimer is a Tax Supervisor whose focus is to support client’s business and personal goals for tax preparation and strategic tax planning.

Esther is a Tax Supervisor with expertise in tax compliance, bookkeeping, payroll, and other accounting services. She is a subject matter expert on legislation related to COVID-19 loans and grants.

Lisa is a CPA and Tax Manager with expertise in accounting and taxation for individuals, partnerships, S-Corps, C-Corps, and Trusts.

Ari is a Senior Accountant with The Hechtman Group. A Certified Public Accountant, Ari specializes in business accounting and taxes, and personal taxes.

D.A. is a CPA and Senior Accountant with The Hechtman Group. He joined the team in 2021 and brings with him almost a decade of experience in a myriad of Tax and Audit areas, including individual, corporate, non-profit, trusts and estates.

Isaac is a Senior Accountant with The Hechtman Group. A former intern and now full-time employee, Isaac earned his bachelor’s in finance from Lake Forest College.

Connie is a Senior Accountant with expertise in tax preparation and general accounting. A native of Illinois, she has over 15 years’ experience in public accounting.

Anastasiia is a Staff Accountant with The Hechtman Group, where she assists with client tax returns and other aspects of general accounting.
