Lisa Callan joined The Hechtman Group in 2024 as a C.A.S. Lead, bringing extensive experience and a passion for helping clients succeed. Lisa collaborates with clients across diverse industries to ensure accurate financial reporting and streamline accounting operations. Her role encompasses overseeing key processes like accounts receivable and payable, payroll, reconciliations, and monthly reporting. With a focus on building strong client relationships, Lisa works to improve both client and internal C.A.S. processes to meet unique business needs.
A CPA, Lisa earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia. Before joining The Hechtman Group, she gained experience at Miller Cooper in Chicago and MPC CPAs in Raleigh, North Carolina. Earlier in her career, Lisa worked as an elementary school office manager, a role she jokingly describes as being a “CPA” for cut, paste, and assemble.
Lisa thrives on building open and honest client relationships, ensuring they feel comfortable asking questions and confident in the solutions provided.
In her free time, Lisa enjoys crocheting, listening to audiobooks, cooking, and traveling. A Georgia native still exploring Chicago’s food scene, she’s open to recommendations. Lisa’s favorite quote, “A day without laughter is a day wasted,” perfectly reflects her friendly and optimistic approach to life and work.
